Vintage Postcard - Boat Landing at Tuxedo Park, Orange Co., NY

This vintage, circa 1900s postcard features a boat landing in Tuxedo Park, New York. Tucked away in Orange County, the area was once the playground of the rich and famous. Captains of industry like William Waldorf Astor and JP Morgan went there to relax and enjoy time on one of the area’s three lakes. The region also entertained the likes of Mark Twain and other notable members of society seeking to soak in the resplendent scenery. This postcard of Tuxedo Lake is part of the late H.A. Decker’s collection.
